Privacy Policy
Effective August 26, 2026
DoxieByte IT, LLC (“DoxieByte IT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains the information we may collect when you visit doxiebyte.com, request technology support, or become a customer, and how we use and protect that information.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, service location, device or technology details, and a description of your support request or project.
Our website and hosting provider may also process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps, cookies, and server logs for website operation, security, and troubleshooting.
Please do not submit passwords, authentication codes, financial account details, or other sensitive credentials through our website forms or by email.

- Respond to questions and service requests
- Schedule, provide, and support technology services
- Prepare estimates, invoices, and service records
- Communicate about ongoing work or maintenance programs

AI-Assisted Operations
DoxieByte IT may use internal AI-assisted tools, including DACHS, to organize technical information, support diagnostics, prepare drafts, maintain service knowledge, and improve workflows. These tools assist rather than replace human decision-making. We limit their use to information reasonably needed to provide and improve services, and customer-facing recommendations, records, and documents remain reviewed by DoxieByte IT.
Contact Forms and Email
Information submitted through the service-request form is emailed to support@doxiebyte.com and may also be stored in the secured WordPress administration area as a delivery backup. Email and website transmission cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, so sensitive credentials should not be included.
Payments
Electronic invoices and payments may be handled through QuickBooks, Square, or Zelle. The relevant payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and terms. DoxieByte IT does not ask customers to enter card or bank-account credentials into the website contact form.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host the website, communicate, invoice, process payments, or deliver requested services; when required by law; or when reasonably necessary to protect our customers, business, rights, or systems.
Data Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, protect our systems, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website, email system, or storage method is completely secure.
Cookies and Third-Party Links
The website may use cookies or similar technologies needed for WordPress functionality, administration, security, or performance. Links to third-party websites or services are governed by those third parties’ own policies, not this policy.
Your Choices
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, accounting, or legitimate business reasons.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy as our website, services, or practices change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
